The F-15SE Silent Eagle is a stealth fighter jet that's being developed by the Boeing Company. The F-15SE is being designed and built for the U.S. Air Force as a potential upgrade of the F-15E fighter jet. the original first F-15 Eagle is a well known tactical fighter jet that first entered service with the U.S. military in 1976 and had a storied combat career.

The F-15SE is an advanced version of the stalwart fighter jet, and boasts many distinctive features like stealth capabilities, a high-tech electronic warfare system, radar-absorbent materials, and an internal weapons carriage. The aircraft is also lighter and more fuel efficient than previous versions of the F-15 fighter jet.

The F-15SE Silent Eagle can travel at supersonic speeds, with a most speed of Mach 2.5 – about 1,650 miles per hour. The plane generally has a crew of two people however its can be flown with only one person. In terms of weapons, the F-15SE is armed with an M61 Vulcan Gatling gun that has 510 rounds of ammunition, and internal and external hard points that enable to hold a variety of missiles. The aircraft also has an advanced electro-optical targeting system and Infrared tracking system.

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) will be the mass production of 5th generation aircraft of the 21st century. At October 26, 2001 there was an ongoing competition between Lockheed Martin (designer of aircraft to the left, the X-35) and Boeing (designer of aircraft to the right, the X-32). The winner of this contest will result in the replacement of the F-16. Unlike the F-22 JSF aircraft will be a relatively low cost. U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and the Royal Navy and U.S. Marine Corps will use the JSF.

In general, the fuselage will be the same, with some exceptions, the U.S. version Air Force conventional takeoff will be a multi-role fighter. The version of the U.S. Navy of the JSF will be similar to Air Force version except with a stronger internal structure, landing gear and the hook of detention to allow carrier landings. U.S. Marines and Royal Navy version (X-35B) will be capable of short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL), allowing this version of the JSF to land almost anywhere. The JSF will use many of the advanced technologies used in the F-22 fighter still remain a low cost 5th generation. Is scheduled to enter service around 2012.

The USAF confirms that the RQ-170 Sentinel is in development, and is predicted "to supply reconnaissance and surveillance support to forward-deployed combat forces", to keep with an announcement released on four December.

The announcement comes when a series of pictures of a jet-powered, stealthy aircraft have appeared on the net since last April, similarly as a clear shot of the aircraft that circulated widely in early December.

APQ-180 U.S Radar System













The APQ-180 radar is used in the gunship AC-130U Specter. This is a modification of the APG-70 radar and has set a target track, earth moving target indication and track the position of the projectile impact point, tracking beacon, and mode of time. The current APG-70 antenna and analog signal processors have been modified and added to complete the APQ-180 system.
